Exercise 2: Emotionally Visualize

Now, after practicing the prior section: “Exercise 1: Gratitude” for 4 – 6 weeks, having FULLY comprehended and applied the information in its subsections to resolve persistently dominant negative emotional thoughts and you notice a change toward regularly feeling an “attitude of gratitude,” let’s move you completely away from thinking about what you don’t want to focusing on what you do want. However, if you still feel you maintain some constant negativity that you need to address first, click here: Negativity Analysis.

Go ahead and break out the old pen and paper or type it into a word processor and PRINT it out; if you don’t have the ink or printer paper, just get a spiral or any kind of paper to write on and do it the old fashioned way, with a pen or pencil.

Remember: if you resist to consistently invest the time, energy and action, determination, to follow through with these exercises, the law of attraction will not work effectively, or at all, for you (See Section: “Not JUST Positive Thinking“)

This is similar to the previous exercise but instead of writing down the things you already have to be grateful for, you are going to write down the things you desire in as much detail as possible. Before writing down your list of desires in the positive and as if it is already happening in the present, write down a “wants and whys” list of what you want in the positive and why without worrying about writing it down in the positive and present. For example, when I was addicted to and wanted to quit my Adderall, I wrote this:

I want my mind to naturally focus stronger and more intensely. Why? So I never rely on any substance that causes emotional distortion to increase the strength and intensity of my focus; my focus is stronger and more naturally intense, providing positive conformity of my emotions into more abundant thoughts and extreme motivational energy from confidence in focusing myself naturally, making my mind-body feel much more powerful in accomplishing daily tasks. Reading and writing using my natural mental ability is more and more inspiring with each occurrence. I feel naturally high in working out, reconstructing my blog and acquiring new knowledge along with certifications, inducing feelings of continuing accomplishment daily. I can truly feel my emotions now being controlled through my complete awareness of them, providing lasting and unwavering motivational energy upon awakening each morning.

Now, I wrote my want in the positive and that is crucial because you always want to write your want or desire in the positive and not what you want to avoid; for example, losing weight, giving up smoking, reducing waste, reducing fixed costs and losing fewer key staff are all negative outcomes which should be thought about how to be written in terms of positive outcomes. Instead, you could write the desire to lose weight as “I want a thinner and more toned body”. I did not write the why in the positive by stating “so I never rely on any substance…” because that is the same as saying “I don’t ever want to rely on any substance…” and we want to focus on what we want, not what we don’t want but that isn’t too much of a concern at that point. Now, the underlined part is where it must be written in the positive and present; this is the part you want to solely focus on. I recommend moving all your underlined parts to a separate document to print for constant review. Here’s the format I recommend for your list of desires:

I am so happy and grateful now that:

1. my focus is stronger and more naturally intense, providing a positive conformity of my emotions into more abundant thoughts and extreme motivational energy from confidence in focusing myself naturally, making my mind-body feel much more powerful in accomplishing daily tasks. Reading and writing using my natural mental ability is more and more inspiring with each occurrence. I feel naturally high when working out, reconstructing my blog and acquiring new knowledge along with certifications, inducing feelings of continuing accomplishment daily. I can truly feel my emotions now being controlled through my complete awareness of them, providing lasting and unwavering motivational energy upon awakening each morning.

The words in bold are emotionally reinforcing words or phrases, so that as you reread this list of desires AT LEAST twice every day, it makes it much easier to visualize these details with a stronger sense of emotion that WILL be experienced in the future as if it is being felt right now just by visualizing every detailed scenario. Don’t concern yourself with how the outcome of your desire will happen, just focus on what you want as if it is happening; most of the great minds of our times did not know how they were gonna do what they did, they just knew that they were going to do it!

You MUST post this up somewhere you will read through this exercise at least twice a day, otherwise do not even bother writing it down; if you write it down and forget about it, it does you no good. Repetitive review is key to this exercise and the first exercise I provided! If you feel you don’t have the time to sit and visualize each item, at least read through each one a couple of times in one sitting twice a day for the first few weeks because repetition is key; however, you must believe with great faith that the outcome you’re reading is possible to provide some emotional energy to make it manifest! If after about two months you feel you aren’t having any success, begin taking the time to visualize each item for maximum effectiveness.

When you visualize, don’t just read through each item and think, “Okay, that’s what I want,” and move to the next doing the same. Take your time reading and visualizing each desire in emotionally detailed scenarios based on what you wrote down; close your eyes and if after a few seconds you are having difficulty continuing feeling the scenarios play out in your mind, stop and reread it again and begin the process of closing your eyes and feeling the visualized scenarios play out in detail again; if this is giving you trouble you don’t need to close your eyes as long as you can stay focused or you may simply need to write down more detail to assist your imagination!

This is the most difficult part for most people, or at least it was for me, but after writing all your desires (try about 4 you BELIEVE you can achieve) down the first time, all it takes is rereading them twice every day for about 4 – 6 weeks to become MUCH more effortless in emotionally visualizing what you desire and BELIEVING with ABSOLUTE faith that it is already on its way to you. If you are having trouble determining what you want with detailed intention, ask yourself these questions to paint a fully vibrant picture of the things you desire:

What is it that you want most in life?

What is your limit when it comes to the best things in life?

What is it about your life that you want to alter or modify?

What do you want to improve in your life?

What is your greatest ambition in life?

What is your BIGGEST dream ever?

What is the most far-fetched dream you’ve had?

What would you like to possess right now?

What do you need to move up in life?

What do you need to become the happiest person in the world?

When asking yourself these questions draw different mental images with each one filled with color and detail (people, places, social interaction in motion, conversations, emotions, etc.). Each mental image should be realistic and memorable enough to recall easily at a later time; if you can make each image striking, do that so you can remember the images and associated feelings with each image easily.

When you visualize something that you want, your intention can be made clearer if you made a direct statement about what you want. For example, if you want to manifest a new house, you can state the location of your new house, the size of the house, how many rooms, how many bathrooms, etc. Be very specific and DON’T limit yourself because you think it is impossible to gain what you desire in life; in the field of creation (your imagination) there are absolutely no limits and imposing limits will greatly affect your ability to attract and manifest your desires; and DON’T let the word imagination fool you into thinking that whatever is created there is only and always imaginary, or not real. This country was created in the imaginations of the founding fathers before it was physically created and manifested.
